Connection Information

For each workflow definition, you must define a Laserfiche Server, repository, and user that the workflow will use. The user defined must have sufficient rights (as defined in the Laserfiche Administration Console) to perform the actions that the workflow calls for.

Ways to define connection information

• At the workflow definition level: Define connection information that will be applied to all activities in the workflow. This is the default and recommended method.
• At the activity level: Enables you to define connection information at the workflow definition level while designating an exception for one or more activities.

Note: You must have at least one connection profile to add an activity to a workflow. If you do not have one, you will prompted to create one.

Note: You can define a default connection profile for all future workflows. New workflows will use the default unless you specify otherwise. More info.
